  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and telephone number provided voluntarily through the contact form. Message content is included where provided.
  • Technical data: server access logs containing IP address, browser type, referring URL, and page requested. These are retained for 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
  • Cookie consent preference: a single cookie records whether you have accepted or rejected cookies. It contains no personal identifier beyond the consent choice and is set for 365 days.

This website does not use analytics tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts beyond the images served from Wikimedia Commons (which are subject to Wikimedia's own privacy policy).

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contact form data: processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) given at the time of submission.
  • Technical log data: processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security and diagnostic purposes.
  • Cookie consent record: strictly necessary for compliance with the ePrivacy Directive and not subject to consent requirements.

4. How Data Is Used

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to the query submitted. They are not shared with third parties, not used for marketing, and not processed by automated decision-making systems. Technical log data is used only for server security monitoring and is not combined with any other dataset.

5. Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months from the date of receipt, then permanently deleted.
  • Server access logs: retained for 30 days, then automatically overwritten.
  • Cookie consent record: expires after 365 days.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. 7. Cookies

This website sets one first-party cookie: cr_cookie_consent, which records your Accept or Reject choice on the cookie banner shown on the homepage. It contains no personal identifier and is set for 365 days. No third-party cookies are set by this website.
